Kaishan KG Series are mid-size crawler-mounted surface DTH drilling rigs built as the production workhorse for open-pit mines. Powered by Yuchai diesel engines, with select models offering combined diesel + electric drive (KG420S/SH), the series delivers a reliable bench-blasting hole cycle. The rig runs with a separate air compressor supplying drilling air, which lets operators match compressor capacity to hole size and site conditions. Hydraulic rod handling and a dust collection system keep hole cycles fast on production blasting programs, making the KG Series the default choice for mine bench blasting and anchor drilling. At publication, the series covers 16 models — key specifications are listed below.
