Deep Water Well Drilling: High-Pressure Air for 600-1500 m Wells
Deep wells change the air equation — pressure climbs, flow must hold, and the compressor becomes the bottleneck.
1. When a well is deep
Wells beyond 600 m need rotary table or mechanical power head truck rigs (TZT, CZC, TEC-J) for torque and pull-back, and high-pressure air for DTH sections: LGZJ compressors cover 2.5-3.5 MPa with dual-mode switching.

2. Dual-mode switching
Dual-work-condition compressors (e.g. LGZJ-31/25-35/18: 31 m³/min @ 2.5 MPa or 35 m³/min @ 1.8 MPa) let one unit serve wells of different depths — a contractor running 200 m, 500 m and 800 m wells can buy one compressor for all three.
