Our relationship with Kaishan
Zhejiang Kaishan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a member of Kaishan Group, designs and manufactures Kaishan drilling equipment. Kaishan air compressors are manufactured within the Group's compressor manufacturing system. Hangzhou Kaishan Machinery Co., Ltd. is the separate sales and service company supporting buyers of this equipment.
Kaishan brand background
The Kaishan brand traces back to 1956 in Quzhou, Zhejiang. Its equipment history includes the pneumatic rock drill units that won the national Spark Award in 1978 and today's intelligent drill jumbos and DTH rigs. Kaishan equipment is exported to more than 90 countries and regions, and its products are used in mining, tunnelling, quarrying and infrastructure projects worldwide.
Kaishan brand milestones
| 1956 | The predecessor of Kaishan Group was founded as a state-private joint machine works in Quzhou, Zhejiang. |
| 1978 | Developed a small pneumatic rock drilling unit that won the national Spark Award; renamed Quzhou Rock Drill Works. |
| 1994 | Completed shareholding reform and founded Zhejiang Kaishan Co., Ltd. |
| 2001 | Kaishan Group was established. |
| 2009 | Quzhou Kaishan Drilling Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded for mining and construction machinery. |

Kaishan manufacturing bases
Kaishan manufacturing is based in Quzhou, Zhejiang and Yichang, Hubei. The Hubei base opened in 2022 and serves Hubei and the southwestern China market; a Kaishan Group drill-tool subsidiary produces rock drill bits, hammers and accessories, and a European marketing center was established in 2023.
