The Kaishan brand — 60+ years behind the equipment
The Kaishan brand traces back to 1956 in Quzhou, Zhejiang. Zhejiang Kaishan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. — the drilling equipment maker of Kaishan Group — has spent six decades developing rock drilling machines, from the pneumatic rock drill units that won the national Spark Award in 1978 to today's intelligent drill jumbos and DTH rigs. Kaishan equipment is exported to more than 90 countries and regions, and its products are used in mining, tunnelling, quarrying and infrastructure projects worldwide.
Brand milestones
| 1956 | The predecessor of Kaishan Group was founded as a state-private joint machine works in Quzhou, Zhejiang. |

Manufacturing bases
Manufacturing is based in Quzhou, Zhejiang and Yichang, Hubei. The Hubei base opened in 2022 and serves Hubei and the southwestern China market; a Kaishan Group drill-tool subsidiary produces rock drill bits, hammers and accessories, and a European marketing center was established in 2023.
