Overview
KJ311i is Kaishan's intelligent tunnelling drilling rig (underground rock-drilling robot), an intelligent roadway tunnelling machine suitable for drilling in hard-rock mines whose section falls in the range of 3.5 m x 3.5 m to 9 m x 5.8 m.
Key highlights
- ✓Auxiliary shutdown system: a laser rangefinder guides the rig to stop in a reasonable area covering the drilling range of the working face, after which the legs are deployed and the carrier levelled automatically.
- ✓Analog computing system: the working face is scanned and processed to build and display a 3D model of it; the rationality of each hole position is calculated from the mine hole layout scheme and the optimal drilling sequence is determined.
- ✓Hole positioning system: the drill boom and beam are driven automatically to the target positions in the drilling sequence to complete hole positioning.
- ✓Automatic drilling system: opening, drilling, drilling-parameter adjustment, anti-stuck adjustment, hole washing and retraction are completed automatically until the drilling task is finished.
- ✓Remote control system: where roadway network conditions permit, the ground control room can be networked for remote operation, so one operator can run several machines and on-site operators are reduced or no longer needed.
- ✓Data acquisition and analysis module: drilling-process data is collected to provide a basis for improving the drilling process, making the equipment progressively more efficient.
