China's first intelligent drill jumbo for non-coal underground mines
Xingfa Group and Kaishan Heavy Industry co-developed an intelligent rock-drilling robot, first deployed at the Shukongping phosphate mine.
Project story
After five years of joint R&D, the intelligent rock-drilling robot was put into operation at the Shukongping phosphate mine — the first such unit in a non-coal underground mine in China.
The robot autonomously levels, scans, verifies hole positions and executes drilling, with three operation modes: on-site automatic, manual and remote central control.
19 technologies are covered by national patents; the unit was rated by CAS academician Song Zhenqi as world-class for intelligent mining.
Outcomes
